Man is Made and Unmade by Himself

In life, most people are always guilty of blaming circumstances or the environment whenever they fail to succeed in any project, but when they succeed in their endeavors; they are always quick to take the glory. People in this category allow circumstances or the environment to take the blame whenever they fail, but accept responsibility for success whenever they succeed.
As individuals, we have the power to create and power to destroy, and this power lies in what we habitually think about. Man is made and unmade by himself in the sense that it is what we continually think that comes as our reality. This is not only applicable to some areas of our lives, but all the areas of our lives are being affected by this. Most times, people wish to acquire the good things of life which may include riches, good houses, nice cars, good wife or husband, wonderful kids etc but end up not getting them. The reason for not getting what we desire to get lies with what we think about.
People do not actually think that bad things should happen to them, but the doubts they have within their moments of thinking about what they greatly desire or hope to achieve make their goals unreachable. The reason for not reaching some of the goals we set for ourselves is doubt. Most times, people have good wishes for themselves, but when they start thinking about those wishes, they start doubting their abilities and possibilities of getting good results. This is exactly where thoughts turn good wishes to bad wishes, and that is how man slowly but steadily destroys his goodwill and heart desires. When doubts start coming into people’s thoughts, the result is failure to reach their goals. When this happens, people start seeing their goals as unachievable and their dreams as too big to be fulfilled. Self doubt is the greatest weapon that destroys a man without delay.
Few people who actually survive self doubt find it difficult to implement what they actually think about. The fact remains that good wishes are worthless if they are not acted upon. Can a man’s good wish of becoming a qualified medical doctor come to pass if he refuses or fails to study medical related courses in school in order to get the necessary certificate to become one? People who do not act on their good wishes will only succeed in allowing their wishes to be ordinary hope which is not going to come through.
Man is actually made and unmade by himself because it is what he habitually thinks and does that manifest in reality. Circumstances and environment are not the determinants of success or failure.
