In the English Premier League, when teams like Chelsea FC, Manchester united, Liverpool and Arsenal who are being referred to as the “Big Four” in recent seasons visit other teams, the home teams are not usually favored by the referee’s decisions, rather it goes the other way round. The reason for this preferential treatment is simply because these favored teams are wealthy, well known, and they have world class managers and people who protect their interests.
